Greg Hamaty passed away with his family by his side on February 16, 2023 in Irving, Texas at the age of 59. He was born on July 20, 1963 to father, George Hamaty and mother, Doris (Salyers) Hamaty in San Antonio, Texas on the base of Fort Sam Houston. Greg will lovingly be remembered for his whimsical personality, and his sense of humor. He loved movies especially fantasy movies such as The Lord of the Rings Trilogy and Star Wars. Greg was a kind and loving, brother, uncle, and friend.

He is preceded in death by his father, George Simon Hamaty; and mother, Doris (Salyers) Hamaty. Left to cherish his memory is his brother, George “Skipper” Hamaty and wife Beth; nephews: Ben Hamaty, Andrew Hamaty, and Josh Hamaty; two great nephews; as well as numerous other family and friends who will miss Greg dearly.
