Homer Echols passed away February 18, 2022, in Irving, Texas at the age of seventy-one. He was born on May 31, 1950, in De Queen, Arkansas to parents Billy and Elcie Echols. Homer worked for the Irving City Parks and Recreations working outside which is what he loved. He had a wide taste of books, music, and movies.

Homer is preceded in death by his father, Billy Echols; mother, Elcie Ellen Echols; and brother, John Williams Echols. Left to cherish his memory is his sister, Linda Stewart; brother, Dallas Echols; fives nephews; one niece; two great nephews; as well as numerous other family and friends who will miss Homer dearly.
