Jim “Pop” Wilson passed away Sunday January 09, 2022 in Irving, TX. He was born on September 13, 1948 in Dallas, TX to his parents Kenneth Roy Wilson and Bobbie Lee Tittle Wilson. Jim worked at Transport Life Insurance as Vice President of programming where he formed many long lasting friendships. He retired after working several years as a mainframe programmer. Jim was a faithful member of St. Michaels Catholic Church in Grand Prairie as well as a member of the Grand Prairie Gun Club. When his kids were young, he loved being a coach of their pee wee football team. Jim loved cars, but especially loved Mini Coopers. He enjoyed hunting and fishing but one of the things he enjoyed most in life was being a proud grandfather. Jim loved attending his grandkids sports activities.

Jim “Pop” Wilson is preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish his beloved memory is his bride of 55 years, Marcie Wilson; son, Todd Wilson and wife Pennie; daughter, Tammy Wilson; son, Tony Wilson and wife Leslie; and son, T.J. Wilson; grandchildren, Michael, Ashley, Tyler, Courtney, Jacob, Gavin, Katie, Lexy, Joshua, Lincoln, and Max; and great grandchildren, Desi & Chaston. As well as many other loving family, in-laws, friends and old business friendships.

There will be a Catholic Mass held at 10 AM on Friday, January 28, 2022 at St. Michael The Archangel Catholic Church located at 2910 Corn Valley Road, Grand Prairie, 75052.
