Obituary for Larry Aviles

Larry Aviles was typically either outside grilling or watching a game in his man-cave. Serving food off the grill was one of his favorite ways to love others. He was passionate about the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers, but even more so he had a deep love for his family, especially his grandkids who could do no wrong and had anything they wanted. He invested much in the lives of his family and friends. He was always working hard, loyal and dependable and offered help in any way he could including lots of Girl Scout cookie sales on the job. Larry also loved his dogs Rocky and Romie. He had the unique ability to make others feel good when they were around him. Although a motorcycle accident hindered his enlistment in the Marine Corps, Larry maintained a strong patriotic presence. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew him.

Larry is preceded in death by his mother Socorro Aviles. He is survived by his father, Antonio Aviles of Irving, Texas; Brothers: Tony Aviles and wife Linda of Dallas, Texas; Ben Aviles and wife Theresa of Dallas, Texas; Joe Aviles and wife Beth of Tampa, Florida; Alex Aviles and wife Lauri of Plano, Texas; Jesse Aviles and wife Kelley of Lewisville, Texas; and Diego Aviles of Irving, Texas; sister, Melinda Kappler and husband Terry of Anna, Texas; son, Nathan Aviles and wife Jennifer of Bedford, Texas; daughter, Melissa Long and husband Jonathan of Fort Worth, Texas; Grandchildren; Erik Higgins, Kendall Aviles, Allison Aviles, Jaden Long, and Grayson Long; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended loving family and loyal friends.
