Lois Jean McCullough age 91 died the morning of Friday, February 12, 2021 in Irving, Texas. She was born on Thursday, July 2, 1929 to Joseph Wilbur and Johnnie (Trimble) Bowman. Lois was member of Plymouth Park Baptist Church, the Grauwyler Heights Neighborhood Committee and a proud member of the Red Hat Society. She had worked as a manager for 25 years at Overhead Door, before her retirement in 1991. She helped initiate the recycling program for Irving, Texas. Lois is preceded in death by her husband Raymond “Sleepy” McCullough in 1979, son Rocky McCullough, two brothers and both parents. Left to cherish her memory are son Rick McCullough and wife Sharon; son Rhett McCullough and wife Kathy; grandchildren Shane McCullough, Stacey Clayton, Kim Fuller, Michael McCullough and Cecily O’Reilly; 4 great grandchildren as well as numerous extended family and friends. A Crypt side service will be held at 12:00pm, on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 E. Irving Blvd in Irving, Texas.
