Lori Michele Humphreys, 55, of Irving, Texas passed away on May 2, 2023, from acute respiratory distress syndrome. Her family is deeply saddened by her sudden death.

She was born in October 1967 to Thomas J. and Henrietta Humphreys in Hartford, Connecticut, and a couple of years later her family moved to Texas. After Lori graduated from Irving High School in 1985, she went on to study and receive an MBA at the University of Texas.

At the time of her passing, Lori worked as an Associate Director of Agency Risk Asset Management at Lument.

Lori was predeceased by her mother Henrietta. She is survived by her father Thomas, sister Kayla and brother-in-law Cory, nieces Karsen and Kylie, and nephew Colton. 

Lori was a generous soul who invested her time and money into many charities. She was curious and pursued the family heritage. Lori loved to travel the world and spend time with family and friends.

Lori made an impact on many lives. She will be missed until we meet again.

Services will be held at Plymouth Park United Methodist Church in Irving, Texas, on May 12th at 11am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Irving Schools Foundation, Kappa Delta Foundation, or Baylor, Scott, and White Irving Foundation that Lori felt strongly about.
