Lupe Yolanda Cooper passed away on March 17, 2023 in Arlington, Texas at the age of 67. She was born in Dallas, Texas on November 16, 1955 to father, Mitchell DeVilla Salazar, and mother, Iona Mabelle Salazar. In 2008 Lupe moved to Irving, Texas having previously lived in Forney, Mesquite, and Dallas. She was a devoted housekeeper who started off working for the Harrington and Carpenter families and then went on to start her own business until her retirement in 2005. Above all Lupe was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who loved her family dearly.

Lupe is preceded in death by her father, Mitchell Salazar, and mother, Iona Salazar. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Gary Cooper; son, Casey Cooper and wife Cristiane; son, Craig Salazar and wife Deanna; sisters: Evelyn Perez, Shirley Perez, and Peggy Gaugh; brothers: Mike Salazar, Daniel Salazar, Don Salazar, and James Norris; grandchildren: Caiden Cooper, Cael Cooper, and Ciaran Cooper; as well as numerous other family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00a.m. on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens 1413 E. Irving Blvd. Irving, Texas 75060.
