Marie Evelyn Moore passed away February 20, 2023 in Irving, Texas at the age of 86. She was born in Temple, TX on May 25, 1936 to her parents Nevin and Nell Trostle. Marie spent her childhood in Temple. From there, she moved with her parents, to Brownwood, TX where she graduated from Brownwood High School and Howard Payne University. She married Cecil W. Moore Jr. in 1957. She briefly taught elementary school in Sweetwater, TX. Eventually, Marie and Cecil settled in Irving, TX where she lived for more than 55 years. Together, they raised three children along with prize winning show chickens and turkeys. She always enjoyed outdoor activities. After watching her children play soccer, she decided to join a team herself. In the early 1980's, Marie returned to the workforce. She worked at Mobil (ExxonMobil) for 20 years, where she made many long-time friends. After retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Marie is preceded in death by her husband Cecil W. Moore Jr., and her daughter Alice Collini. She is survived by her daughter Melinda (Pete) Garza of Irving, her son Jeff (Marsha) Moore of Tyler, her son in law Wayne Collini of Mansfield and her loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
