Marinell Zaun went Home into the arms of her Lord and Savior on April 24, 2023, at the age of 96. She was born October 20, 1926, in Irving, Texas to father, Robert Andrew Gleghorn and mother, Bertha Lucinda Haley. Marinell loved sports, especially baseball, basketball, football, and even bull riding. She enjoyed reading and belonged to the book of the month for many years. Marinell loved to bake. She was known to always be working outside her home, but all her hard work never stopped her from making wonderful holiday dinners with at least a cake or two and a couple of pies which were all deliciously homemade. She had a truly selfless heart even when she went into the facility, all the way up until her last week she would check on the others and make sure the aides knew if anyone needed anything. Above all Marinell loved her family and would show her love through the little things she would do like ironing sheets and pillowcases until she just couldn’t anymore.

Marinell is reunited in Heaven by her father, Robert Gleghorn; mother, Bertha Gleghorn; and six siblings. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Carolyn Horn, grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
