Obituary for Mary Lou DuBois

Mary Lucille DuBois age 91 of Irving, Texas went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 7, 2022. She was born Thursday, September 18, 1930, in Wichita Falls, Texas to parents William and Lucille Hall. She married Kenneth DuBois on Friday, February 16, 1951, in Henrietta, Texas. Mary Lou had a lot of hobbies some of which included: sewing, crocheting, painting, needlepoint, knitting, and playing bridge. She was a faithful and longtime member of Irving North Christian Church. At Irving North Christian Church Mary Lou served as deaconess, deacon, elder, Sunday school teacher, vacation Bible school leader, and choir member. She loved traveling on cruises as well as trips to Europe and Canada with her family and friends. Above all Mary Lou will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.

Mary Lou is met in Heaven by her loving husband, Kenneth Guinn DuBois, M.D.; father, William Alvin Hall; mother, Lucille Hall; brother, James Hall; and niece, Paula Hall. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Kenneth DuBois II and wife Connie; daughter, Yvonne Hill and husband Beaux; son, David DuBois and wife Donna; grandchildren: Matthew DuBois, Kenneth DuBois III, Cassie Romero, Brandon DuBois, Chase Townley, and Taylor Townley; great grandchildren: Luke DuBois, Landry DuBois, Charlie Townley, and Kelsey Townley; as well as numerous other family and friends who will miss Mary Lou dearly.

A visitation for Mary Lou will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, from 5:00p.m. thru 7:00p.m. at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home 707 N. MacArthur Blvd, Irving, Texas 75061.

The funeral service will be held at 10:30a.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home 707 N. MacArthur Blvd, Irving, Texas 75061.

Mary Lou will be laid to rest with her husband Kenneth at 1:15p.m. on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, Texas 75211...15 minutes prior to the service, friends and family attending, will begin the processional line up at the cemetery in Lane 2.
