Obituary for Phyllis Jane Stephenson
Phyllis Jane Stephenson passed away surrounded by her loving family on May 3, 2022, in Irving, Texas at the age of eighty-five. She was born on December 8, 1936, to parents Bernice and Ruby Thompson in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Phyllis worked as the office manager of Stephenson Lawn Sprinkler Service until her retirement.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her loving husband, George Stephenson; father, Bernice Elmer Thompson; and mother, Ruby Pauline Fultz (Thompson). Left to cherish her memory are son Gary Stephenson; son Ricky Stephenson and wife Sherry; daughter Lori Cummons and husband Roger; and daughter-in-love Cristy Burk Stephenson. Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren are Sunni Stephenson; Harmony Peacock and spouse Amanda Turner; Matt and Megan Peacock, and their children Riley, Brynn & Gigi; Sissi and Michael Shipley, and their children Matthew & Emma; Chad and Misty Stephenson, and their son Trevor; Will and Julie Stephenson, and their children Kailen, Max & Avery; Blake and Alex Kuzniar, and their children Michael & Georgia; Beth and Bobby Kellum, and their daughter Carleigh; Zachry Stephenson; Logan Cummons, and her son Easton; Taylor Stephenson; as well as numerous other family and friends who will miss Phyllis dearly.
Family will receive friends from 12:00p.m. thru 1:00p.m. on Monday, May 9, 2022, at Christ Church 1750 E. Airport Fwy Irving, Texas 75062.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00p.m. on Monday, May 9, 2022, at Christ Church 1750 E. Airport Fwy Irving, Texas 75062 with the committal service at Oak Grove Memorial Garden 1413 E. Irving Blvd. Irving, Texas 75060 immediately following.
