Obituary for Rhonda Virginia Ray (Pendleton)
Rhonda Virginia Ray passed away peacefully after a hard fought battle against colon cancer on January 27, 2021 in Irving, Texas at the age of 59. She was born in Dallas, Texas on August 16, 1961 to father, Donald Ray Pendleton, and mother, Margaret Ann Pendleton. Rhonda was the co-owner of Rainbow Academy where she loved working with the children under her care for many years, and later was an Operations Manager at Hightech Grafix working at the side of her 2 sons.
Rhonda is preceded in death by her loving husband Nathan Leon Ray Jr.; and, father, Donald Ray Pendleton.
She is survived by her son, Robert Ray; son, Jon Ray and daughter in law, Jessica Ray; mother, Margaret Pendleton; brother, Donald “Donnie” Ray Pendleton Jr.; sister, Margaret “Ann” Boone and brother in law, John Paul “Pokey” Boone; brother, Robert Steven Pendleton Sr.; brother, Roger Wayne Pendleton and sister in law, Janis Pendleton; brother, Ronald Eugene “Ronnie” Pendleton; sister, Terri Pruneda and brother in law, Ramiro “Nuni” Pruneda Jr.; brother, Gary Thomas “Tommy” Pendleton; brother in law, John Ray; grandchildren: Brayden Ray, Keegan Ray, Axton Ray, and Ryann Ray; as well as numerous other family and friends who will miss Rhonda dearly.
