Obituary for Larry Clemens
Larry Clemens joined his Lord and Savior in Heaven on February 7, 2022, in Irving, Texas at the age of 75. He was born on April 14, 1946, to parents Richard and Thelma Clemens in Boulder, Colorado. Larry served his country in the United States Army from 1971 to 1977 having spent 2 years in Germany and 13 months in Korea. During his service in the Army Larry worked in the Mechanics Pool as an E-5. After his service Larry went on to work for Texas Instruments for 20 years until his retirement in 2000. After his retirement Larry went on to occupy is time working in the garden department for Walmart from 2000 to 2007. He was a faithful member of Grace Pointe Church in Irving, Texas where he never met a stranger and loved his church family. Music and food were highlights in each day. Larry was always ready for a run around day with his running buddy Lisa Woods. He was always happy to be surrounded by his helping angels, sister in laws Phyllis, Venita and husband David, and Irene and husband Bruce. Above all Larry loved his family unconditionally and will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Larry is meet in Heaven by his father, Richard N. Clemens; mother, Thelma C. Clemens; and brother, Ronald Gary Clemens. Left to cherish Larry is his loving wife, Pat Clemens; daughters: Dena Clemens, and Jillian Clemens; grandchildren to whom called him “PeePaw”: Marie, Jonathan, and Cordelia; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends who will miss Larry dearly.

A funeral service for Larry will be held at 10:00a.m. on Wednesday February 16, 2022, at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home 707 North MacArthur Blvd. Irving, TX 75061.
A graveside with Military Honors will be held at 2:15p.m. Monday, February 28, 2022 at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy Dallas, TX 75211.
