Ronald (Ronnie) David Ranft passed away peacefully at home on April 17, 2021 surrounded by his loved ones at the age of 64. He was born to parents Sidney and Alice Ranft September 23, 1956 in Grand Prairie, Texas. Ronnie had many hobbies which included, fishing, hunting, and drag racing. His real passion was working on cars which you could almost always find him working on one.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his father, Sidney George Ranft, Jr., and mother, Alice (Gunter) Ranft. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Nora Ranft; son, David Ranft; daughter, Mary Ranft, and husband Roy Sample; son, James Ranft, and wife Misty; grandchildren: Matthew, Liana, Megan, Jordan, Justin, Sionna, Skylar, and Autumn; great grandchildren: Carrie, Avaion, and Kaia; as well as numerous other family and friends who will all miss Ronnie dearly.

Family will receive friends for a visitation on Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 10:00a.m. – 11:00a.m. at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home 707 N. MacArthur Blvd. Irving TX, 75061. A funeral service will be held 11:00a.m. at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home 707 N. MacArthur Blvd. Irving TX, 75061. Following the funeral service, a graveside for Ronnie will be at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens 1413 E. Irving Blvd. Irving TX, 75060.
