Susan Diana Turner went home to her Lord and Savior on June 18, 2022, at the age of sixty-nine. She was born December 31, 1952, to mother, Mary Sue Turner, and father, James Claude Turner in Dallas, Texas. Susan was truly selfless and was known to always look out for everyone else before herself. She was a fantastic listener and lived with an absolute Faith in God. She raised four of her grandchildren as her own and loved her siblings unconditionally. As Susan lovingly watched her grandchildren grow, she desired and did what she could to assure they were on a path to success and happiness. She was a true traveler, whether to a beach or a campground. She loved catfish and sushi. Susan was never without a dog in her life as she absolutely loved dogs and the happiness they bring. She will always be remembered as a loving peacemaker who cared for everyone in her life.

Susan is met in Heaven by her parents James and Mary Sue Turner; brother, Greg Turner; and sister-in-law, Edith Turner. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Chris Powers; daughter, Heather Sparkman; son, Jeff Sopko; grandchildren: Haleigh Sparkman, Julien Sopko, Nick Sopko, Tyler Sopko, Sydney Newkirk; Triston Sopko, and Carson Powers; brothers and sister: Larry Turner and wife Sandra; Mike Turner and wife Tina; Stephen Turner and wife Cindy; and Stephanie Palmer; great grandchildren: Kayden Sopko and Payton Newkirk; numerous nieces and nephews who absolutely adored their Aunt Susan; as well as other family and friends who will miss Susan dearly.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00p.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home 707 North MacArthur Blvd. Irving, Texas 75061.
