Thelma Worley passed away peacefully May 12, 2021 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 101. She was born to parents, Therman and Mamie Anderson on November 23, 1919 in Cooper, Texas. Thelma loved to paint and do crafts as part of her artistic personality. She was a big sports fan cheering on her Dallas teams such as the Dallas Mavericks and the Rangers. She also enjoyed watching golf tournaments. Thelma could always be found in the kitchen baking something good. Above all Thelma will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

Thelma is preceded in death by her loving husband, C. M. Worley “Bill”; father, Therman Anderson; mother, Mamie (Watkins) Anderson; three sisters; and one brother. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Robert Joe Worley, and wife Alvina; son, Clyde Michael Worley; daughter, Patricia Ann Lowery and husband Herchel; daughter, Dianna Lynn Waldrum, and husband Randy; four grandchildren: Dan, David, Ben, Suzette; seven great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; as well as numerous other family and friends who will miss Thelma dearly.

Family will receive friends for a visitation Monday, May 17, 2021 from 4:00p.m. thru 6:00p.m. at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home 707 N. MacArthur Blvd. Irving TX, 75061. A funeral service in honor of Thelma will be held 11:00a.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home 707 N. MacArthur Blvd. Irving TX, 75061.
