Tracy Louise Wiest, age 57, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 22, 2021, at Methodist Hospital Dallas after a prolonged battle with liver disease. Tracy was born on April 30, 1963, to Frank Vasquez and Margaret Ruckman. Tracy grew up in Irving and never strayed far from her hometown. We don’t count that time in Houston – it was a mistake. Tracy thrived as a dispatcher for a local cable company and met Billy, the absolute love of her life, on the job. This was not love at first sight…the story was she thought he was kind of iffy and would keep him on hold when not always necessary. She realized soon enough that he was her soulmate and they were together for 21 years. Besides spending time with her large family, Tracy loved to travel by car, plane and especially by cruise ship! She and Billy enjoyed many adventures throughout their lives and created lasting memories with friends and family. You could not find a more devoted mother or a better friend. Tracy fiercely protected those she loved and would be the first to tell you when you messed up. She had an amazing smile and a generous heart but took no guff from anyone.

Tracy is preceded in death by her parents Frank & Maggie, stepfather Bill Ruckman, daughter Racheal Wiest and sister Lisa Chance. She will be remembered and cherished by her husband Billy Wiest; sister Linda Moss & husband Sammy; sister Lora Vasquez; her children, Charles Stubbs & wife Jennifer, Trent McKellar & wife Bridgette, Amanda McKellar & husband Bobby, Crystal Cavaness & husband Clayton, Robin Griffin & husband Aaron, and Dalton Wiest; 17 grandchildren Charlie Bear, Tyler, Zackary, Chance, Savannah, Khari, Kassidee , Michelle, Miley, Jimmy, Kylie, Joshua, Averi, Delilah, Anneliessia, Isibella, Rhynnlin; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
