Obituary for Dianne Boysen

Wanda Dianne Boysen was 72 years old and resided in her family home in Irving, Tx. She was born on 12/17/1948 to HD and Dolly Barfield. She married our Daddy, Benny Boysen on 12/21/1966. She was a dedicated employee for many years at Showbiz and VHA. She retired from CITI Group when she turned 65.

She is survived by her children, Carrie Boysen-Thibodeaux, Christie Lott, Bonnie Green and Bj (Benny) Boysen Jr. Her Beloved Sisters Kathy Watson and Gale Smith. Her 8 cherished grandchildren Jadyn, Chloe, Jaxyn, Caylee, Savannah, Hudson, Jacye and Wyatt.

She was preceded in death by her loving Benny, her mom Dolly, and Dad HD.

No words can explain what she meant to all of us. No feelings can calm our loss. She was the best Momma, Mawmaw, Wife, Friend, Sister, Niece, Aunt, Acquaintance anyone could ever ask for.

She was always there for you. She always put a smile on to meet the world everyday even when she was not feeling it.

She beat AML Leukemia and was in remission when she passed. We were so proud of her for strength and perseverance through the chemo process.

She loved her Benny so much it broke her heart every day after he passed away but, she would put that smile on carry on. She can finally be back at peace with her Benny.

All the memories, all the tears, all the laughter can only keep her bright in your heart.
She loved her entire family (and we have a huge family) with all her heart, many times she spoke of each one so dearly. She did not have a mean bone in her body.

She would sit outside and enjoy the sun on her face and enjoy the red birds, blue jays, hawks, and hummingbirds. She loved roses but, her favorite rose was yellow.

Dianne and Benny’s house was always open to anyone that came by, needed a shower, needed a couch, or just needed to talk. They welcomed everyone with open arms and were happy to do so.

Please take a moment and share a memory on the wall, she would love that.

We loved her very much. Our hearts are broken and will never mend to be the same.
