Obituary for William Bill Quinn Sr.

William “Bill” Quinn, Sr., age 89, of Irving passed away December 2, 2020 in Irving. He was born on November 22, 1931 in Ennis, Texas to Joseph Sebastian and Frances Ruth (Curran) Quinn. Bill was known for his keen sense of humor. He was a member of St. Luke’s Catholic Church for 62 years serving as an usher. Bill worked at Brandt Engineering in Dallas as a pipe fitter. Prior to his retirement he worked in the Oil refinery industry on the Texas Coast and Oklahoma and Louisiana. After his retirement he worked for Avis Rental Car as a parts runner driving repair parts from locations in the DFW metroplex. Bill is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Joseph Sebastian Quinn, Jr. and John Dennis Quinn. He leaves behind to cherish his memory wife Lorna Quinn of Irving; sons William David Quinn, Jr. of New York; Kevin Mark Quinn of Irving; twin sons Gregory Scott Quinn of Azle, Texas and Jeffrey Sean Quinn and wife Robin of Euless; daughter Karen Michelle Quinn of Irving and granddaughter Renee Deborah Quinn of Wautaga, Texas. Family Rosary to be said at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at St. Luke’s Catholic Church 202 South MacArthur Boulevard, Irving, Texas followed by Mass of Christian burial with Father Richard Bezzegato officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens at 1413 E. Irving Boulevard, Irving, Texas. Memorial donations may be made to St. Luke’s Catholic Church 202 South MacArthur Blvd., Irving, TX 75060
