Ina Marie Parr of Irving passed away February 15, 2014. She was born on June 21, 1921 to Jefferson and Elizabeth Patterson. She was past president of The Irving AARP Chapter and volunteered at The Irving Heritage Center. Ina was a member of First Baptist Church of Irving where she was involved in The Bible Survey Sunday School Class. She is preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her husband of 45 years, Edgar Parr, Jr. of Irving; son Robert Lankford; daughter Rose Marie Williamson and step children, David; Jerry Becky and Betsy Parr. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 20, 2014 in the Chapel of The First Baptist Church in Irving with Pastor Jason Hatch officiating. Interment at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 24, 2014 at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
