Always a smile
Regina, I didn't hear about Jon's passing until after the service, or I would have been there. Your family was such a wonderful one, a blessing to our old neighborhood. Christ worked His magic through each and every one of you, and no surprise being led by such a wonderful man, father and friend. Jon always had a smile, and was the first to help with school activities, as were you. I will never forget how insightful he was when my son was having some problems in band. Jon's wisdom helped us through what was then a challenging situation. The events are not important, what was important was his effort to reach out to us and make things better. That is the Jon I always think of. God Bless and keep you all during this difficult time.
