I'm so sad to know that we have lost Aunt Ruby. I have always loved and admired her for her kindness and generosity, and especially from having seen her raise her three children all by herself after Uncle Peg died. She always put them first and gave them a warm, loving home to grow up in. Everyone was always welcome in her home, too, and her cooking was just wonderful. I know that from the many times she sat me down and fed me one of her terrific meals, or coaxed me into having another piece of pie. And there were always her dogs, her cute and friendly, well-loved dogs. I know we all will miss her, but we will be comforted by having known and loved Aunt Ruby, and remembering all the love and fun she shared with us during a long and good life. God bless.
