Wayne was such a gentle soul. He loved life, family, friends and the Lord! We only knew Wayne for about 5 years since joining FUMC Irving. We wish we would have known him longer. I will never forget the time I first met Wayne at FUMC Irving. He told me that we needed more beautiful ladies at Church. I knew from the get go he was a man that I was going to become great friends with. I loved all his hugs each week and really looked forward to them. Once we got to know him and Jean we knew we had some great "grandparents" for Claire to have in her life. We hold all our time with Wayne close to our hearts. We only wish we could have done more for him. Claire really appreciated the attention she would get from them both. We are sad that he has left us here on earth, but we know God called him to Heaven for special duties. Jean you and your family are in our prayers and we are here for you anytime. Remember all the glory days with Wayne and look forward to the day you are together again in our father's home. Julie Schilling
