Obituary for Will Morgan Conder

Will Morgan   Conder
Will Morgan Conder, age 89 and longtime Irving resident, died on March 18, 2015. He was born in Burkburnett, Texas to Elias William Conder and Minnie Pearl Frederick Conder on December 5, 1925 and went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Navy during World War II. Will was a hardworking man who retired from Dallas Power and Light after 37 years. Along with being a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather he was an avid outdoorsman who loved gardening and served as the manager to the The Mustangs in the Irving Girls Softball League. Will led the team to the U.S. Nationals and two state championships. He is preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife, Mamie Conder, his brothers Lowell Conder, Joel Conder and Howard Conder and his sisters Wilma Stalder and Credé Moore. Left to cherish Will’s memory are his daughters Joan McCorkle and husband Myron; Gail Conder Wells and husband Jim; Marcia Gaither and husband Ron; Nancy Parker and husband George; son Morgan Brent Conder and wife Cynthia along with many adored grandchildren and great grandchildren. A graveside service with military honors be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving.Memorial donations may be made to the General Fund at Oak View Baptist Church in Irving at ovbc.net or 1004 S. Story Road in Irving, Texas 75060.
