John and Patsy Reed, Timothy and Bethany Humphries, Betty Sumner

AuntJoyce,Stephanie,Steve,Tyler, and Holly: We were so sad to hear about Uncle Tommy's passing. As I read the obituary I was amazed at all the things I did not know about him. I did not know he was in the Navy. As a child growing up you may hear about them but not remember them as an adult. What I do remember is when you and Uncle Tommy would come to Grandpa and Grandma's house. You paid attention to the kids which was wonderful to us but more important you paid attention to our grandparents, helping them fix up their house or playing games of dominos with Grandpa or teasing Grandma. He understood the importance of family. When I viewed the memory video it became clear to me how much love there was in your family. And how much time you and Uncle Tommy spent with Stephanie, Steve, and those wonderful grandkids. I saw happy times with family and friends. Uncle Tommy will be missed by all of our family. But he joins most of our family in heaven and leaves us here with our memories. Let us cherish them until we join him once more. We will be thinking and praying for you today. It is a great honor our country does on behalf of their veterans and I know you will cherish this memory also. Love, John and Patsy Reed Timothy and Bethany Humphries Betty Sumner P.S. Tim is a farmer. He would make the perfect Texan. He has a big red truck and all he needs is some longhorns on the front.
