Condolence From: Melba Owens
Condolence: I was blessed to have Rosa as part of our Court Staff during my tenure as Court Administrator for the Irving Municipal Court. She was an outstanding, dedicated employee who made our days brighter with her beautiful smile, contagious laughter, and positive attitude towards the public and fellow employees. She truly had a servant’s heart – always willing to do whatever it took to get the job done. And, she was also a dear and caring friend to each of us! Her love for God and family was such a witness and blessing to all! Those of us whose lives she touched in very special ways will miss her! It is said that our lives are not measured by the number of breaths that we take, but by the moments that take our breath away! I feel blessed to have shared many of these moments with her! I will forever cherish her memory. There was truly an Angel among us! Go rest now Rosa in the arms of the Savior. You fought a good fight – and always kept the faith! My prayers are with the family at this difficult time of loss. Love and prayers, Melba Owens

Condolence From: Andy Lozano
Condolence: My condolences to the Martinez family. My family, The Lozano's, have known the Martinez family for many years. Diana and my sister Yelitza were best friends growing up. We always had fun and remember Rosa. She was a very friendly and funny person. As much as I hated to go to the courthouse, I enjoyed running into Mr. Martinez. You will be missed. God bless you and your family especially in this time of need.

Condolence From: Diana Villalobos
Condolence: I was 16 when I started working with Rosa at the courts, as we worked together she saw me graduate from high school, get married and have my first child. It was amazing the see first hand her devotion to her husband and family and even through her husband's illness she maintained her positive and great attitude towards life. She was a great example to follow not only at work but the family as well. My thoughts and prayers are with the family she loved so well.

Condolence From: TIM WHISLER
Condolence: Rather than be repetitive, I wish to echo everything said by Judge Sturman in his message. My wife, Ellen, and I first met Rosa & Greg on the YMCA baseball fields. Our sons played on the same team. I later spent many years working with Rosa and getting to know Greg. I never heard either one of them utter an unkind word about anyone or anything. They were truly two of the good guys. May they rest in peace.

Condolence: I was privileged to work with Rosa for seventeen years. She sat near the entrance door and her smiling face greeted me every day with a cheery "good morning, Judge". She was a hard worker, friendly and could always be counted on. When she retired from the Court we lost not only an excellent co-worker, but a good friend. She will be missed. Milton Sturman
