Aunt Glo was always the family historian. She gave me a set of Family Tree software for my computer years ago and all I had to do was keep it updated. She had our family traced back several generations. She invited all her nieces and nephews over after Fred passed away to let her know which family heirloom they wanted when she was gone. She had inventoried all of these by room in an Excel Spreadsheet. What an neat idea. She also sent some items home with us the same day we were at her house. I remember she gave me Grandma Sue's white candy dish and some of Aunt Betty's coffee cups. Also, a nice serving bowl. She had several antique items that she was going to donate to Irving library for history. She still had her high school cheerleader outfit! How great is that? She also had a judge gavel and many other neat things. Everyone was glad they were there and we all got to enjoy a good get together.
