Hugh Leonard McRoberts, age 77, entered into gracious eternity on the morning of Wednesday October 25, 2017 in his home surrounded by his loving family. Hugh was born on October 14, 1940 in Marengo, Illinois to his parents Harry and Margaret (Kube) McRoberts. Hugh was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and a servant of the Lord (known as Mr. Hugh). Left behind to cherish his memory are wife of 32 years Marilyn McRoberts; sister Judith Lindsay of Richardson; sons Lance McRoberts and wife Annette of Ferris, TX and Shane McRoberts and wife Heather of Grand Prairie, TX; daughter Emily McRoberts-Froese and husband Jerram of Flower Mound, TX; grandchildren Amanda McRoberts, Diego Ortiz, Izabella Ortiz, Asa Froese, Azrael McRoberts, and Logan McRoberts; God daughter Clarissa Stratton; all the staff and children of Holy Trinity Learning Center; and numerous other extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held for Hugh, 11:00 A.M. on Saturday October 28, 2017 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church at 2901 North O’Connor Road Irving, TX 75062, officiated by Pastor Norma Cooper.
