Jack Donald Estes, longtime Irving resident, died in Bedford, Texas on March 12, 2016 at age 88. He was born in Calico Rock, Arkansas on September 17, 1927 to Joseph Amos and Julia (McCurley) Estes. Jack proudly served in the United States Army and worked maintaining Oak Farms Dairy for thirty-eight years. He is preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife, Della Mae (Coffee) Estes. Left to cherish his memory are his sons Don Estes and wife Kitty; Dale Estes and wife Karen, all of Irving; his grandchildren Ryan Estes and wife Rue, Daniel Estes, Jaclyn Long and husband Will, Ashley St. Clair and husband Luke, Rachel Estes, along with two great grandchildren Oliver St. Clair, Keira Estes and many other loving family members. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Irving with Mr. Mark Roberts officiating. Interment in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens will immediately follow. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, March 16, 2016.
