Carolyn S. Lubben, age 70 and longtime Irving Resident, died Tuesday, August 30, 2016. She was born on April 11, 1946 in Hugo, Oklahoma to Charles and Jenny Martin. She had many hobbies, but her favorite was collecting jewelry, and the bigger it was the better it was. Carolyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed life and was loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Chuckie Martin. Left to cherish her memory is husband Mark Lubben; son Mark Bates; son Kris Bates and wife Cindy; brother Richie Martin and wife JoAnna; brother Bobby Lee Smith; 10 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 10:00 am, Friday, September 9, 2016 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home with an internment at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens immediately following.
