I met Mary Ann and Jan in the early 80s when they were helping to build Northgate Methodist for the third time. Mary Ann and her family were so welcoming to a stranger (me) and as I result, I joined the church where Jan and I sang together in the choir. You rarely meet a person as sweet as Mary Ann.
