Bea was my mother-in-law for almost 20 years. She was always "Everybody's Mother". Her house has alway overflowed not only with her own family, but also with her family's friends, and she was a mother to all. I'll always remember going to see Bea and her husband, Bob, to tell them I was pregnant. I was very nervous and afraid of how they would react. How pleasantly surprised I was when Bob's response was, "Welcome to the family!" and Bea's response was, "I'm going to get you a glass of milk!" I thanked her and told her that wasn't necessary, and I also told her I don't really like milk. She responded with, "Then you'll drink chocolate milk!" Guess what? I drank chocolate milk. She truly was a mother to all who knew her, and she was wonderfully funny and unique. She will be missed, but she now rests the rest of the truly deserved and basks in the freedom from pain and struggle. Thank you, Bea, for beng good to me and to my children. Thank you for being you. I love you, and I hope to see ya on the flip side!
